--Video Version--

With all the moisture we have had lately, the normally dry creek bed behind our house has water in it.  Wintercreek is flowing.

I’m thinking about Psalm 78:16 today, “He brought streams out of a rocky crag and made water flow down like rivers.”  Water is meant to be contained only in a temporary way for the purpose of taking it in.   It is not to be poured into a jar and set on a shelf.   Have you ever had a drink of the water you left sitting on your nightstand for a few days?

Water needs to flow in order to stay fresh, moving to places in need of its life giving qualities.    It is to be shared, not contained.

Jesus said, “Indeed, the water I give them will become in them

a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”  In John 4:14b
