  Divine Weapons

  I'm thinking about 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 today.

   

  Yes we are in a battle.  You feel it every day.  You may not feel like you are winning.  There is more going on than what you can see.  If our weapons have divine power, it’s not even a fair fight!

   

  We don’t fight the battle with lies or half-truths, our weapon is the belt of truth.   We don’t give in to the scheming of wrong actions, we wear the breastplate of righteousness.  We don’t allow our minds to drift into dark possibilities, letting our minds dwell on what could go wrong,  we pray, because, as it says in the next verse in 2 Corinthians 10, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

   

  The biggest battle we might face today just might be in our thought life, in our mind.  I pray you win THAT battle today, with weapons of faith.
